e3 Weight Management Solutions
– Program Philosophy
Our company, e3, was born from aggravation. Around every corner, it
seems as though there is another fad diet, diet aid, supposed expert or
magical weight loss formula. Each product claims to be the ultimate
answer to attaining your goals, but none of them achieves long-lasting
results. As intelligent consumers, you know better than to trust these
potions or fads, but viable, healthy options appear to be few and far
between.
At e3, we are aware of these frustrations, and we’ve done something
about it. Instead of basing our programs on marketing and fads, we’ve
chosen to focus on three things that are far more tangible – eating,
exercise, and education (thus the name was born).
e3 WMS is a complete solution for healthy people who are attempting to
attain fitness and/or weight loss goals, boost their health and raise
their performance levels. Through various programs we provide exercise
plans for the beginner through the more seasoned athlete. We provide
customized menus for our clients based on lifestyle, preferences, and
need. The e3 Weight Management System stands apart from other programs,
however, because of our third “e” – education. In addition to the
exercise programs and menus, we also provide you with the knowledge
necessary for application to your everyday life. We will explain why we
choose certain foods or food combinations, how and with what you should
be supplementing your diet, and why we choose certain exercises over
others. We even have an on-line research library to further enhance
your education.
e3 is not a diet, it is your pathway to a
healthy lifestyle. Through this science-based system you will be well
on your way to achieving your goals.
Weight Loss Facts: The Truth
Low Fat Foods DO NOT WORK.
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat
Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet
our society is getting more overweight as each year passes.
This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not
the answer to losing weight.
Low Calorie Diets DO NOT WORK.
You won't lose weight using a Low
Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst
thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your
body's metabolism and make reaching your goal more difficult (low
calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few
days, but then after that fat loss comes to a halt --- known as a
dieting plateau). You will not achieve the toned, athletic look you
desire by starving yourself.
Low Carb Plans DO NOT WORK.
You'll probably find it extremely
difficult to get lean using a Low Carb Plan. Versions of Low carb diets
have been popular for more than a decade now, but the problem with low
carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for
average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much
energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain
consistent long enough to have lasting effects. This is why so many
dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.
What about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig
Dieting Plans?
Weight loss programs such as Weight
Watchers (and Jenny Craig) usually involve slower dieting progress over
a longer period of time. These types of programs generally promise 2-3
pounds of weight loss per week and they involve buying special meals
during the initial phases of the program. Although better than most
these programs are incomplete as they do not focus on everything you
will need to be successful.
While some people may like these types of dietary programs we look for a
long term, final solution:
